Organic Milk and Cream
Why not try our Organic Milk.
Our milk is bottled and pasturised on the farm within a few hours of milking. It is non homogonised and GM Free. At last full cream milk that has a good layer of cream on the top and a semi skimmed that still tastes like milk and not water. Our Organic cows graze on pastures that are free from any form of insecticides, herbicides or fungicides. Instead we used natural products such as lime, seaweed and farmyard manure to increase soil fertility. We and other organic farmers aim to create a healthy balanced soil rich in natural nutrients.
Award Winning Organic Hebridean Lamb
We are very proud that our lamb was awarded the GOLD at this years Soil Association Organic Food Awards. We introduced the Hebridean Lamb to our rich Somerset pastures in the middle of last year and they have thrived. In February of this year we had our new season lambs born and again the lamb's response to life on an Organic Somerset farm was fantastic. The award is testament to our hard work and the quality of meat the Hebridean breed gives.
Award Winning Organic Berkshire Pork
We believed our Rare Breed Organic Berkshire Pork was delicious and according to the Soil Association we were not wrong. We have been awarded the GOLD for our pork at this years Soil Associations Organic Food Awards. Our Organic pigs are reared outdoors in family units with plenty of space to roam, forage and generally enjoy themselves. The results of the awards prove this is the way things should be done.

Our own hand made sausages and burgers are out of this world. High quality ingredients and the attention to detail that comes from making these by hand, ensures perfect results every time.

Non Organic Gammon, Bacon and Ham
At Gilcombe Farm, we have always prided ourselves on producing the best ham and gammons, traditionally cured on the bone using the York and Wiltshire methods, crafts almost lost in this age of convenience and fast food.
Our sliced ham is a must for that summer picnic.
Freezer Fillers
Our selection packs have been developed over the years to offer a complete range of meats at a discounted price. They are by far the most popular items we sell and offer savings of up to 50% from the cost of buying some of the items individually.
Choose from Beef, Lamb, Pork, or Chicken Boxes filled with all the best meat the farms can produce.
Organic Beef
Traditionally hung for a minimum of 21 days our Organic beef is full of flavour and very tender.
Bone in or rolled all our joints can be cut exactly how you like. If you are unsure about the weight you require, simply tell us how many people you are feeding and we will do the rest!
Later this year most if not all of the beef supplied through this website will be born and bred on our own farm and will be Aberdeen Angus. We will keep you posted.
Non Organic and Organic Poultry
Nowhere is the difference between conventional and organic methods of farming, more apparent than in poultry production.
Our birds have the very best of everything. They live outdoors in small units with plenty of space to peck, scratch and do whatever it is birds like to do!
They are slower maturing, often nearly double the age of conventional birds and as a result actually taste of something rather than the bland, rubbish supermarkets seem intent of churning out.
Non Organic Frozen Pies and Ready Meals
Here at Gilcombe farm we are always looking to add more high quality products to our already extensive range. It became apparent that our local customers who visited our shop were unable to source meat pies and ready made meals that actually contained a high quality of meat from a source that they trust.
Please note that all pies and meals are supplied FROZEN and we require all orders for pies, meals, pasties and soups by Friday afternoon for delivery on the day of your choice the following week.

Somerset is renowned for its lush dairy pastures and cheese making and a company highlighting the best produce the West Country can offer, surely would not be complete without Local Cheeses. The selection below is in our opinion, the best example of each we have come across. Some are produced by small, artisan producers that are sadly becoming a dying breed.
Non Organic Wild Game
Shot from the local farms, we are very proud of the seasonal game we supply. We only operate on a very small scale and as such, we have time to select the very best. Birds are picked by hand, ensuring a quality of presentation second to none.

Made with the finest ingredients, these are an essential addition to any meal.
Traditional stuffing mix that are made to old fashioned recipes. They are very easy to use and taste fantastic.
Jams, marmalades and chutneys are all hand made and most hve received Taste Of The West Gold Awards.
Non Organic Fresh Fish
All our fresh fish is supplied by Jamie of The Portland Scallop Company. All fish is caught to order and collected from Jamie every saturday. If you require fish on your order it can only be dispatched on a Monday. This may mean delaying the dispatch of your order until the Moday closest to your required delivery day.
Our Luxury Holiday Cottage
This extremely spacious detached farmhouse has a wealth of original charm & character with exposed beams & stonework, inglenook fireplaces, feature fireplaces in two of the bedrooms & a mixture of tiled, slate, polished wood & carpeted floorings. From each room you will have views of the surrounding countryside with distant views to King Alfred’s Tower that neighbours the beautiful national trust gardens of Stourhead.
